Cardno ENTRIX specializes in the assessment, protection and restoration of our nation’s natural resources. We combine water resources engineering with a deep understanding of natural systems to develop sustainable solutions that protect both sensitive resources and infrastructure including habitat, rivers and streams, recreational facilities as well as roads and pipelines. Cardno ENTRIX has a long history in water resources and we employ experts who understand the cause and effect relationships between watershed and water infrastructure development; and their influence on the natural environment and natural processes.
Our experience spans the full spectrum of project development for both natural and built environments—from conceptual planning, scientific research, alternatives evaluation, design, permitting, plans and specifications—to construction supervision, and post project monitoring. Cardno ENTRIX can provide clients either individual technical components for a project (e.g., hydrologic modeling, in-stream flow assessment, geomorphic studies, or aquatic habitat inventories) or lead large-scale restoration design and engineering programs from conception to construction oversight. In addition, Cardno ENTRIX is proficient at managing multiple regulatory agencies and organizations with diverse interests and responsibilities. Our teams have been successful in reaching agreement on restoration approaches by guiding agency, academic, and other interested stakeholders through complex technical and permitting issues.
