Relicensing of the Prospect 1, 2 & 4 Hydroelectric Project

Summary: Cardno ENTRIX was responsible for all aspects of the relicensing effort from the First Stage Consultation Document and related stakeholder involvement to the Final License Application. The focus of this multi-year project was on fisheries impacts on three forks of the Rogue River and a tributary. Cardno ENTRIX was responsible for all data collection, analysis, reporting and collaboration with stakeholders. Some of the key studies included: 1) instream flow studies to determine minimum flow requirements for fish; 2) wildlife and vegetation surveys; 3) water quality investigations; 4) fish distribution, abundance, condition, and habitat studies; 5) cultural, historical, and archeological investigations, 6) geological and geomorphic investigations; and 7) recreation and aesthetics investigations.

Cardno ENTRIX worked with the PacifiCorp team in collecting and analyzing all technical information and assembling the major submittals to FERC and the other stakeholders. Cardno ENTRIX assisted in getting a fish passage waiver for a dam on the North Fork Rogue River.
