Reconnaissance Studies on the Economic Feasibility of a Fish Hatchery, Greenhouse Development and Raspberry Propagation on the Lummi Indian Reservation

Summary: As part of a Federal Water Rights Adjudication for the Lummi Indian Tribe, Cardno ENTRIX conducted analyses and prepared litigation reports which determined ground water use and future water needs. Water uses and needs included domestic, commercial, and municipal uses.
Reconnaissance studies on the economic feasibilty for several enterprises including a fish hatchery, greenhouse agriculture and raspberry propagation were conducted. The purpose of the studies was to identify and quantify the ground water needs of each enterprise. The general components of each study included a market analysis, cost analysis including resource requirements, and economic feasibility analysis.
