Summary: Cardno ENTRIX provided a comprehensive aquifer investigation, groundwater-surface water interaction assessment, well testing and rehabilitation, and regulatory consulting services to Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power plant for several years. Projects to date have included:

• Bedrock aquifer evaluation, site selection and installation of two deep bedrock wells, extensive aquifer and well testing, evaluation water quality challenges, and determination of potential connection between groundwater pumping and flows in adjacent Diablo Creek.

• Groundwater characterization in the PowerBlock area to identify flow directions, rates, and fate of groundwater present beneath power plant.
