Feasibility of Commercial Enterprises for the Fort Hall Indian Reservation

Summary: Cardno ENTRIX conducted economic studies related to the development of a business park along Eagle Road on the Shoshone Bannock Indian Reservation. The Tribe is considering several development options on the Reservation, one of which involves a new business park. The business park will be a new location for a handful of existing tribal enterprises, including; a gift store, grocery store, post office, and restaurant. The economic analysis addressed the impact that relocation may have on the existing businesses.

Other businesses considered at the business park were assessed for their preliminary feasibility, and suitability at the proposed location. Cardno ENTRIX performed a reconnaissance analysis of the market, profitability potential, and regional assessment for six ventures in the proposed business park.
