Bay Division Pipelines Reliability Upgrade

Client: San Francisco Public Utilities Commission

Location: San Francisco, CA

Summary: Cardno ENTRIX historians and architectural historians conducted a cultural resources survey for a 21 mile-long project area of potential effect (APE) which spanned the Bay Division segment of the Hetch Hetchy water system in San Francisco, California. Cardno ENTRIX staff completed all necessary sections of a CEQA EIR for the project. The survey identified two NRHP/CRHR eligible historic districts associated with the water system as well as several individually-eligible resources. In addition, Cardno ENTRIX prepared the research methods, regulatory background, environmental setting, impacts analysis, and mitigation sections for the CEQA EIR document. Cardno ENTRIX also produced a Section 106 Cultural Resources Technical Report which included a historic context statement, methods, survey results, and impacts and mitigation measures sections.
