Cardno ENTRIX Welcomes Dave DeCaro to the Firm as Senior Consultant
We are pleased to announce the addition of Dave DeCaro as senior consultant within our Northeast and Midwest Regions of the United States. Dave holds more than 18 years of project management and environmental and ecological field experience.
Dave will be responsible for managing and helping to grow an environmental permitting and planning practice that specifically targets the energy and power markets in the Northeast and Midwest Regions. He will also facilitate new business opportunities within the upstream and midstream oil and gas markets, power industries with particular focus on transmission facilities, and the planning, permitting, and compliance services associated with new linear projects.
Previously Dave has worked for ENTRIX as Project Manager and technologist in support of utility natural gas, electric, transmission, sewer and water, transportation, site development and industrial management projects. Holding the Senior Permit manager position at his preceding employer Dave was responsible for the permitting tasks for development, construction and operation projects in the Eastern and Midcontinent Regions. He also led several Federal and State species of concern negotiations and Federal and State NEPA and SEPA project negotiations that included sound studies, alternative analysis, ESA and Section 106 issues. He was also an industry representative for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory National Wind Coordinating Collaborative.
He is also a certified professional wetland scientist and holds memberships at the Society of Wetland Scientist and Association of State Wetland Managers.
Dave received his Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in Natural Resources Conservations.
