Travis Greenwalt of Cardno ENTRIX Published Article in ABA Natural Resources and Environment Journal
Cardno ENTRIX Senior Economist, Travis Greenwalt of the Missoula Montana office, has co-authored a paper titled, Protecting the City's Water: Designing a Payment for Ecosystem Services Program. The article has been published in the summer 2009 issue of the American Bar Association Journal, Natural Resources and Environment.
The paper focuses on designing Payment for Ecosystem Service (PES) programs to enhance or preserve water resources. It explores the effectiveness of PES programs that have been implemented by municipalities throughout the United States. Also included in the paper are recommended guidelines for establishing a PES program, including the important role of economic valuation of ecosystem services.
