Compensation and Other Benefits
Cardno ENTRIX rewards its employees with competitive compensation, generous benefits and other perks too. Beyond compensation, we also understand work/life balance is important. In fact, we believe people bring more creativity and impact to their work when they can lead well-rounded lives.
Base Pay
Cardno ENTRIX is committed to attracting and retaining top talent and rewarding excellence. Because base pay is often the most significant component of an employee’s overall compensation, we offer competitive salaries. To ensure we maintain our competitive standing, our HR team regularly reviews external and internal salary information to ensure we are in line with the market.
Discretionary Bonus
While a bonus is never guaranteed—our goal is to incent and financially reward employees who consistently go above and beyond. Cardno ENTRIX’s discretionary bonus is determined by several factors—the firm’s overall financial performance, individual contributions as well as regional and group results. Discretionary bonuses are decided at year-end and typically awarded to employees during the first quarter of the following year.
401(k) Plan and Company Match
Cardno ENTRIX employees have the opportunity to contribute to a 401(k) plan through tax-deferred payroll deductions. Our 401(k) plan is administered through Fidelity Investments and Cardno ENTRIX employees have a choice of more than 15 different funds. Federal contribution limits are $16,500 in 2011 for employees under age 50. For employees 50 or older, the government allows a $5,500 “catch-up” contribution, for a maximum contribution of $22,000 in 2010. In addition, Cardno ENTRIX incents and supports employee retirement savings, with a company 401(k) match which becomes fully vested after three years of service.
Vacation, Holidays and Sick Days
Employees accrue Vacation time based on length of service with the firm. In addition, Cardno ENTRIX gives employees eight paid holidays (seven scheduled and one floating holiday). And starting with the first day of service, employees begin accruing time-off for illness or medical/dental appointments, up to 8 days per year. Vacation and sick days may be rolled over to future calendar years up to a maximum of 240 hours.
